Leader of the Bluemar team, Shaun is driven to build on the high standard of service provision that clients have come to expect. He has brought together a group of engineers that thrive on meeting challenges head on and are focused on delivering effective, pragmatic engineering solutions.
Shaun holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons 1) in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Applied Thermodynamics from the University of Sydney. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer, Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, and listed on the National Engineering Register.
Shaun has a broad experience in Energy Systems, Agricultural Engineering, On-Shore Marine Engineering, Materials Handling, and Project Management.
When he’s not testing out the latest piece of technical equipment, you’ll find him with his family, surfing, diving, and running Obi, the Bluemar office dog.
Brad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Nanomaterials from Curtin University.
He is a Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, and an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. Brad has wide ranging Process Engineering experience from Cotton Ginning to Wastewater Treatment. Brad is an expert in chemical safety, plant modelling and GIS Mapping.
Driven and motivated by the diverse range of projects that come across his desk, Brad is focused on ensuring that his clients walk away satisfied and keep coming back.
Brad was born in Esperance, graduating from Esperance Senior High School in 2005. He enjoys spending time with his two golden retrievers and watching the cricket.
Maya has a strong knowledge and understanding of Civil and Structural projects and she has worked in multiple sectors with concrete and steel structures, road construction and water systems. She is passionate about providing high quality engineering service whilst constantly improving her knowledge.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master degree in Civil Engineering.
Maya immigrated to Australia as a refugee with her young family. They have made a home is Esperance and enjoy relaxing as a family.
JOSHUA HALL
DRAUGHTSPERSON
Civil Construction Design Trainee
Joshua started with Bluemar as a high school work experience student. He developed an interest in engineering project delivery and was awarded a traineeship in Civil Construction Design.
Joshua has grown into an active member of the team going out on site and offering his ideas/opinions on how to solve issues.
Josh enjoys the large variety of Bluemar projects, particularly doing geotechnical investigations and developing 3D modelling solutions. Josh always looks forward to working on more unique projects around the Esperance Goldfields Region.
Joshua grew up in Esperance and enjoys drawing, spending time with his friends and family as well as 4WD and fishing on Esperance’s picturesque beaches.
SHARON VALLEJOS

Sharon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and her professional experience is spread among technical, administrative and management roles.
She strongly believes and in the power of strong relationships with clients and focuses on a high quality client experience through the entire lifecycle of the project and beyond.
Born in Peru, Sharon is in love with Esperance’s nature and colours. She enjoys beach activities like walking, swimming, watching the sky and practices yoga and meditation.
